How the Buyback Program Works
Streamlined Refrigerant Collection
We accept all types of refrigerants, including A2Ls, refrigerants with flammable hydrocarbon components, and HFOs. We also accept all types and sizes of recovery cylinders, even those with expired certifications. Simply schedule a pick-up or contact your Carbon Reduction Centers (CRC) to schedule a visit.
Accurate Testing and Weighing
Upon receiving your recovered refrigerants, we weigh the contents of your recovery cylinders and utilize the latest infrared refrigerant identification technology to accurately determine refrigerant type and purity.
Prompt Payment and Reporting
You'll receive payment and a detailed report outlining the type, purity, and net weight of your recovered refrigerants within 30 days*. We also provide all necessary documentation to satisfy any audit requirements, ensuring effortless compliance.
Two Ways to Get Started
FluoroFusion offers a traditional Drop-ship Cylinder Exchange Program and a local cylinder exchange program run by our Carbon Reduction Centers (CRCs) in select metropolitan areas. To see if you’re located in one of our CRC service areas, please visit our CRC locator page. For more information, please contact us.
R-410A
With the phasedown of HFCs, reclaimed R-410A is crucial to service the existing equipment base, as direct replacements may not be readily available or compatible. FluoroFusion's R-410A buyback program incentivizes recovery and ensures a sustainable supply.
R-22
Although R-22 production and import have ceased, many systems still rely on it. FluoroFusion's buyback program supports the availability of reclaimed R-22 while also offering a suitable alternative, Arctic Eagle R-422B+, for those seeking a long-term solution.
